New job and some artypoos

Gah! I keep forgetting about my blog.

Anywho, I have a job now! Whoot! Currently I'm working at Cardiff based company Dinamo on their series "Happy Vally". The project is done using Toon boom harmony so I'm getting loads of experience with the programme which I'm sure will help with future endeavors :)

Just thought I'd post some of the pre-prod work I did for the Flash film I'm currently working on. This was done back before christmas so it feels a bit old now and Lexi, the main character, has changed quite a bit design wise.

Concept art for RFTM

Whoop! Next day update. I'm trying to start as I mean to go on and I've got quite alot of old art I'd like to post here.

To follow the second year theme heres the original concept drawing I did in the summer which lead to the story used in Reaching for the moon. The designes changed quite alot (these guys would have been too hard to animate 0_0) but I think I managed to get the over all feel of the picture into the film...somehow..

It was done using Markers, watercolours and Painter 7.

And while I'm here I may as well post some other old things to get them out of the way

Finally kicking this blog off. Seems like my first film is a good place to start.

This was done in 2008 during my second year on the HND Animation course at the university of Glamorgan. Took about 4 or 5 months and was fully animated in traditional 2D with the colouring done in animo and the backgrounds coloured with Photoshop.
